Trump And His Family Are Harming Americans While Living Large At Taxpayers Expense. They Must Be Booted Out

Published

on

On Sunday, the United States’ coronavirus death toll reached more than 40,000, with over 742,000 COVID-19 cases, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. Almost 33 million workers have filed for unemployment, with economists warning that the chance of a recession within the next twelve months is 100%.  And what is Donald Trump doing to save the country? Well, he is resisting mass testing or really any semblance of a plan for developing virus-tracking measures that could, in theory, help some parts of the population safely return to work. And to add insult to injury, he appointed his idiot daughter and son-in-law to your economic task force.

Yes, the latest development in our national nightmare is the news that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are now on the White House’s council to reopen America.

What are their qualifications are to sit on this council? In the case of Ivanka they include: a failed clothing line, a knack for not knowing how words work, the inability to obtain a top secret security clearance without President Daddy demanding it, and getting caught ripping off another designer’s shoes.

And what does Jared bring to the table? It’s hard to hit on all of his accomplishments, but some of the highlights include: a career as a slumlord, convincing his father-in-law to keep the 2019 shutdown going based on a delusional bet that he could convince Nancy Pelosi to pay for the border wall, telling the president the coronavirus was not a “health reality,” and, of course, telling governors that the federal stockpile of PPEs is not meant to be shared with the states. “This is our stockpile, not the state’s ” he said.

Kushner has positioned himself as the overall czar of the coronavirus relief effort. Just like his dismal peace-making efforts in the Middle East, Kushner has added another layer of confusion to the muddled White House coronavirus response by, for example, promoting the speedy development of drive-thru nationwide testing sites that still haven’t materialized.

You see, pretty boy Kushner is not a guy with sound political judgement. He reportedly told the president that Andrew Cuomo, New York’s governor, was being “alarmist” after he announced that his state required 30,000 ventilators to help get through the pandemic.

Unfortunately, Kushner doesn’t only suffer from intellectual overreach. Self-dealing may have made a cameo too in the middle of crisis, and we have seen this movie before. Earlier, the Kushners had attempted to attract capital from China, by touting EB-5 visas in exchange for investments and looked to Anbang, a Chinese conglomerate, to bail them out of their real estate positions.

When Kushner was boasting about data and Trump was going on about testing websites, they were probably referring to Oscar Health, an insurance company tied to the Kushner family. In turn, Oscar appears to have been involved in the government’s efforts to map the spread of the disease.

According to reports and filings, Josh Kushner, Jared’s brother, owns a piece of Oscar, and Jared belatedly divested his interest after entering government. If the Trump Organization can bill the Secret Service when they guard the president at his personal properties, why can’t the Kushner kids make a few dimes off the taxpayer?

And to rub their arrogance on America’s face, Kushner and Ivanka blatantly ignored Washington, DC’s Mayor Muriel Bowser’s stay-at-home order, which was issued March 30 and ordered residents of DC, which include the couple, to stay at home unless they are performing “essential activities” such as “obtaining medical care” or are performing “essential governmental functions.”

The DC stay-at-home order also says that “willfully” violating it is a misdemeanor subject to a fine not exceeding $5,000, or imprisonment for not more than three months, or both.

But Jared and Ivanka traveled to the Trump golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, with their three children for the first night of Passover on April 8, according to The New York Times.

It’s hard to imagine that a family visit to a New Jersey golf club falls into the “essential” categories.

And then there’s Donald Trump. In recent days, when talking about reopening the country, the inept, dictator wannabe, president told reporters that his authority to tell the 50 governors in the United States what to do is “total.” He also threatened to adjourn Congress — a provision of the Constitution that has never been used — so that he can push through several of his nominations to fill different federal agencies.

We don’t live in a monarchy in the United States and it’s long past time for Prince Jared and Princess Ivanka to rejoin the private sector.

Of course, with king Donald in the White House, the likelihood of that happening is very low, as the only constant of the consistently inconsistent Trump is that he will fire pretty much everyone in his orbit, but not members of his own family, no matter how feckless they are.

America, in November 3rd, your final word to Trump and his cash-grabbing clan should be “you’re fired.”

‘I can’t In Good Countenance Continue To Show This’: Fox News Cut Away From Trump’s Press Sec. For Pushing Baseless Claims Of Election Fraud

Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto on Monday cut away from a press briefing featuring Kayleigh McEnany, who is both the White House press secretary and a Trump campaign spokesperson, as she continued to push Donald Trump’s baseless claims of election fraud.

“She’s charging the other side as welcoming fraud and illegal voting. Unless she has more details to back that up, I can’t in good countenance continue to show you this,” Cavuto said as he cut off the press conference, pushing back on what he described as “explosive” charges from McEnany.

“Not so fast,” Cavuto added.

McEnany suggested, without evidence, that Democrats welcomed “fraud” and “illegal voting” in the 2020 election.

“We want every legal vote to be counted,” McEnany said, echoing President Donald Trump’s unsubstantiated claim that votes for President-elect Joe Biden were illegal.

Though multiple major news outlets, including Fox News, have declared Biden the projected winner of the 2020 election, Trump has refused to concede and is rejecting the results, claiming that he won the election.

Meanwhile, a number of world leaders have congratulated Biden on his victory, including UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Even before the end of voting on November 3, the president repeatedly signaled he would claim the election was “rigged” against him if he lost, but there is no evidence to substantiate such claims.
